CityChurch McKinney

McKinney Global Methodist is honored to support CityChurch of McKinney (citychurchmckinney.com), a youth and children outreach ministry on the east side of McKinney. Citychurch is transforming disadvantaged neighborhoods by making a long-term physical and spiritual commitment to children, showing them a pathway to a life of success. McKinney GMC members and friends help with weekly Sunday morning meals, provided Christmas presents, and support “Popsicles in the Park." 

Our Missions

Our vision to be a Christ-centered, Biblically-based, and Spirit-led church focuses our mission work with those who have a similar vision. We currently support CityChurch-McKinney, Vega Elementary, ReviveTexas, and Burgas Methodist Church in Bulgaria.

Revive Texas: a Christ-centered ministry in the historic Wesleyan theological tradition with a mission that includes offering summer camps for children and youth to encounter Jesus and to become disciples of Jesus Christ for the glory of God. Vega Elementary: We are blessed to meet at the Vega Elementary Cafeteria on Sundays at 10:00 AM. God has placed us here to be a blessing, so we are now an official sponsoring church through McKinney ISD. Our church has one of the largest groups of school mentors, we adopted 61 children for project angel tree, and we regularly provide teacher/staff appreciation.

Burgas Methodist Church, Bulgaria: The Mid-Texas Conference of the Global Methodist Church is the official partner conference of the Bulgarian Global Methodist Church. McKinney Global Methodist Church has been partnered with Burgas Methodist Church with Pastor Krasimir Madzharov. Doug and Jana Fox were blessed to travel to Bulgaria in 2024 to meet and be mutually encouraged through our relationship.
